Put your foreground colour to a light colour, I have #b7b5ba , and your background colour to a darker one #292929 
Change your foreground colour into a gradient (foreground/background gradient) with following settings:
To start the lesson, put your materials as follows:

The lesson
- File - new image:

- Flood fill this image with the foreground colour #b7b5ba

- Layer - new raster layer
- Change your solid foreground colour into gradient

- Flood fill your empty image with this gradient
- Adjust - blur - gaussian blur: radius: 30
- Layers -load/save mask - load mask from disk and choose @nn_mask_29juni2007_Yasmine:

- Layers - merge - merge group
- Effects - 3D effects - dropshadow with setting shown below:

- Layer palette: opacity: 70, blend mode: normaal

This is what you should have:

- Layers - merge - merge visible
- Window - duplicate and minimize (this is for the background, later in the lesson), Proceed with the original image
- Activate your lines.pspimage, Edit - copy - paste as a new layer
- Layer palette: opacity: 100, blend mode: screen

You should have this now:

- Layers - new raster layer
- Selections - load/save selections - load selection from disk -->> Yasmine_sel001_tdstudio:

- Activate your image_001.jpg, Edit - copy - paste in selection
- Layer palette: opacity: 20, blend mode: luminance (legacy)

- Selections - select none
- Effects - plugin Penta.com - VTR2
or plugin Unlimited 2.0 - Penta.com - VTR2 (Vista users) with settings shown below:

- Effects - plugin Lokas Software - 3D shadow with settings shown below:
Pay attention: Shadow Position and chant it into FRONT

This is what you have now:

- Activate the misted tube: @nn_140607_misted_fractal_tdstudio.pspimage
- Edit - copy - paste as a new layer
- Effects - image effects - offset with settings shown below:

You should have this now:

- Layers - new raster layer
- Change foreground colour into your light solid colour

- Activate the brush tool with settings shown below (@nn_yasmine_2107)

Stamp your brush as follows:

- Layers - duplicate
- Image - mirror
- Layers - merge - merge down
- Effects - plugin Eye Candy 4000 - Shadowlab with settings shown below:

- Layers - merge - merge visible
- Effects - Illumination effects - sunburst with settings shown below:

You have this now:

- Activate @nn_140607_slagklok_tdstudio.pspimage and from this image activate LAYER 1 - on your layer palette, change the blend mode from both layers into Soft light, keep it this way.
---››if you use other colours, play with the blend mode.

- Edit - copy - paste as a new layer on your working area
- Effects - image effects - offset with settings shown below:

- Activate again @nn_140607_slagklok_tdstudio.pspimage and now activate LAYER 2

- Edit - copy - paste as a new layer on your working area
- Effects - image effects- offset with settings shown below:

This is what you should have:

- Activate @nn_140607_spijlen_tdstudio.pspimage
- Edit - copy - paste as a new layer and move as shown below:

- Effects - plugin Eye Candy 4000 - Shadowlab with the same settings (see item 31)
- Layers - merge - merge visible
- Effects - plugin - Flaming Pear - Flood click on this icon:

click on Open and than click on OK
- Layers - new raster layer
- Change your material, foreground colour=dark colour.

- Activate your brush tool with settings shown below (@nn_Yasmine_2108):

Stamp your brush as follows:

- Layer palette: opicaty: 100, blend mode: Multiply

- Effects - plugin - Eye Candy 4000 - Shadowlab but now with these settings:

- Layers - merge - merge visible
- Effects - plug-in filter- Namesuppressed - Softner:
Click on open:
Go to your map Presets form Softner, this is automatically:

Click on OK
- Open the tube Mtm-photos 76-14 mei 2007.pspimage
- Edit - copy and paste as a new layer
- Adjust - hue and saturation- colorize:

- Image - resize with setting shown below:

- Effects - image effects - offset with settings shown below:

- Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:

You should have this by now:

- Effects - plug-in filter - Flaming Pear - Flood with the same settings, they are still in the memory:
---›› If you use another tube, play with the Horizon.

- Ok we will leave this work for a moment and we are going to make our Christmas ball:
- Open a new transparent image:

- Effects - Artistec effects - Balls and Bubbles and choose my preset (see print screen):
On the third tab you MAPS ("called" TOEWIJZINGEN in Dutch") you can choose for another Christmas ball if you wish to do so.


- File - export - picture tube and give it a name:

- You may close your Christmas ball now, and re-open your work 900x550px
- Layers - new raster layer !!!!!!!!!
- Activate the picture tube tool and choose your Christmas ball:

- Stamp at random and change the scale: I used scale: 100 - 70 - 50 - 30
- Repeat Eye Candy 4000 - Shadow lab the settings from point 49 remain, so click OK at once
You should have this by now:

- Layers - merge - merge visible
- Effects - Illumination effects - Lights and choose @nn_Yasmine_Lights_001

- Effects - plug-in filter- Richard Rosenman - Solid Border:

- Save your work as a JPG
- We will make the background now:
- Activate the image (see point 12, you minimized it there)

- Selections - select all
- Selections - modify - contract 100
- Image - crop to selection
- Effects - image effects - seamless tiling:

- Save as a jpg. So you are ready now to fill in the script Annemarie made for us
